Down to earth, a good listener, caring and supportive, trustworthy, straight-talking, non-judgmental and creative.
Wanting to help individuals and teams make a real difference in their home and work life is what matters to me. I love to see people do well and have always had an enthusiasm for helping people fulfil their potential.
Deep-rooted Partnerships
I believe everybody should have a great coach in their life. Research also tells us that working together in a safe, reflective space using proven coaching psychology practices is more creative and productive than working on your own. You can count on me to really listen, and be dedicated to your cause to help you get to the root of your troubles, and overcome the challenges that life and work sometimes throw at us. Together, we will learn what you need to gain the clarity, belief and motivation to get you to where you want to be. Then, I will provide you with the support you want to achieve your goals, in a way that works for you.
Trilateral Qualifications and Experience
As a coaching psychology practitioner, I fuse my knowledge, skills and experience in leadership, coaching and psychology (underpinned with neuroscience) to help executives, leaders and their teams fulfil their potential. I have a Masters degree in Psychology with Distinction, as well as a degree in Hotel and Catering Management. I am also an accredited ILM7 Executive Coach and Mentor, qualified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner, and certified to provide Emergenetics psychometric profiling.
I have over twenty years of experience in strategic and operational leadership which involved sucessfully leading and managing small and large team across the UK, from large national and global hotel companies such as Marriott, Hilton, De Vere and Macdonald hotels to regional public transport organisations, such as Merseyrail and Merseytravel. I have successfully undertaken senior roles in Hotel General Management, Revenue Management, Marketing and Customer Services, which have included being responsible for revenue budgets of up to fifty million pounds and this has given me vast experience in leading and serving people from different types of backgrounds and cultures, with different levels of experience and skill.
As well as running my own business, I am also a doctoral researcher in work psychology, specialising in how to make speaking up in the workplace more effective. My journey has taught me how important it is to value and embrace life-long learning and growth, in order to adapt successfully to our ever-changing environment.
Personal Life and Wisdom
I love taking long walks, playing the piano, learning more about anything to do with personal growth, exploring the world and spending time with my friends and family. I have had many opportunities and rewarding experiences in life, yet my most enlightening lessons have come from my most demanding life challenges. Having to navigate through difficult life-changing family circumstances whilst sustaining a successful career for many years means I can draw on my own real-life events for all the areas I offer my services in and so have a natural affinity and empathy with everyone I work with. I know that by adopting positive, and flexible thinking, doing what we love, and having the ability to easily adapt to change, sustains our well-being as human beings.
